Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Career Intelligence (the "service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The service is operated by Generational Development ("Generational Development", "we", "us").

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement. We do not currently verify age technically, so eligibility relies on your representation.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly at support@generationaldev.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Career Intelligence is a career intelligence and positioning tool. It helps you organise your own career evidence, analyse how your experience reads, and produce career materials from information you provide and confirm. We are not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, or career placement service, and we do not guarantee employment, interviews, compensation, promotion, or any other hiring outcome.

• You must provide truthful information about your own experience.
• Suggestions the service generates are drafting assistance. They do not become facts simply because the service produced them.
• You remain responsible for reviewing, correcting, and editing every output before you use it anywhere.
• You may not use the service to fabricate qualifications, accomplishments, credentials, employment history, or supporting evidence.

We do not independently verify any career claim, employer, date, credential, or result you enter. Nothing in the service should be read as confirmation that a claim is accurate.

• Passwords, API keys, or other credentials.
• Malware, exploits, or attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorised access.
• Unlawful, infringing, harassing, or hateful material.
• Trade secrets or confidential or restricted employer, client, or third-party information.
• Personal information about others that you have no authority to use.
• Impersonation, fraud, or misrepresenting who you are.
• Using generated content to misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or results to anyone.
• Scraping, reverse engineering, or reselling the service.

You keep all rights you already have in the content you submit, your resume text, career history, evidence, and related career information. We do not claim ownership of your career data. You grant Generational Development a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, transmit, analyse, and display that content, including sending relevant content to the AI and infrastructure providers described in the Privacy Policy, solely so we can operate and provide the service to you. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for copies retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

Analyses, scores, positioning strategies, and generated career materials are produced with AI systems and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccurate characterisations of your experience. You must review and edit outputs before relying on or sharing them. Outputs are not professional, legal, financial, tax, immigration, or employment advice. We do not guarantee that any output will satisfy an applicant tracking system, employer, recruiter, hiring platform, or market expectation.

• New memberships include a 7-day free trial. A payment method is required at signup through Stripe-hosted checkout.
• Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the membership converts to $49 per month and renews automatically each month until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time through the membership/billing portal available from your Account page, which opens the Stripe customer portal.
• Cancellation stops future renewals. Access and any end-of-period treatment follow the behaviour configured in Stripe at the time you cancel and shown to you in the portal.
• Prices may change; we will give notice before a change applies to your renewals. Applicable taxes may be added.

Charges and any refunds are handled consistently with applicable law and any terms presented to you at the time of purchase. For billing questions, contact support@generationaldev.com.

The service depends on third-party providers, including Stripe for payments, Supabase for authentication and data storage, and AI model providers accessed through our AI gateway. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services' availability or acts.

The Career Intelligence software, interfaces, methodology, scoring framework, brand names, logos, and all proprietary content we provide are owned by Generational Development and protected by intellectual property law. These terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for your own career purposes.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free right to use them to improve the service, without obligation to you.

We may change, add, or remove features, and the service may be unavailable at times due to maintenance, provider outages, or factors outside our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, misuse the service, or use it unlawfully. You may stop using the service at any time and cancel your membership as described above.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service or its outputs will be accurate, complete, error-free, or will produce any particular career result.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Generational Development will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost employment, or lost data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Generational Development from third-party claims arising out of your unlawful use of the service, content you submit in breach of these terms, or your breach of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

We may update these terms as the product changes. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the service after an update means the updated terms apply to you.
